As we wrap up the craziest year of our lives, we’re all likely reflecting back in some way. This year has changed our lives and the structures around it upside down. But at the very end of it, I’ve been left wondering about the transformations this year may have brought to our outlook on love.

We’ve possibly learned to embrace relationships more this year. But what little things might have been magnified that we were previously oblivious to? How might the abundance of space and time redefine how we love?

In this intimacy with self, we find the answers we were not ready to face — The mysteries we deemed complex, in the end, were rather simple.

#1. You Can’t Love While Living In Your Mind

We’re in our minds more than ever. As a result, how we approach love and relationships may have become somewhat robotic and transactional. And while we’re playing out a script perhaps not meant for us, as a generation we feel what’s in our bodies less and live in our minds more.

And to an extent, it is simply by design. As more of our physical world moves to digital, we have to live more from our mind than our body. But while this works…
